History

Our history began in 1989 with “Ilerdenses de Construccions” (Ilescon). This was where what we now know by the brand name of Roca Borràs SL first began to develop, and to create the brand that now identifies us: RB.

After several years dedicated to construction, we began to work in the world of promotion, operating from an office located at number 27, Carrer Tarragona, in Lleida. This was the beginning of what is now a major business group.

The expansion of our business led us to change our office. RB undertook its first major move, to offices located in Carrer Lluís Companys, in Lleida.

Roca Borràs continued to grow, diversify and consolidate a job well done. All of this led to another move. In 2006, we moved to our current offices, at number 5, Carrer Manel Gaya i Tomàs, in Lleida.

The economic crisis forced us to consider a change of strategy. We studied new types of client and discovered new avenues for business in Ibiza. We opened an office there and took on permanent staff to work for us.
This new business decision was one of the most important steps in our history.

We began a new line in the world of construction: the rehabilitation and building of hotels.

Our recent change of image demonstrates this. We have adopted a more mature image and one with the confidence to present itself to the outside world with much greater force.
Our history has led us to constantly evolve. This has made Roca Borràs an organisation which is proud of where it came from and very sure about where it wants to go.
